'The Voice': These Black Furniture Designers Shine In Tov’s Showcase Collection

The Voice Collection with Tov, a gorgeous, first-of-its-kind collaboration created by six Black designers and honoring the Black design community, has arrived.

Tov Furniture CEO Chaya Krinsky, who believes that furniture should show who you are, said her company was thrilled to be a part of history and help these six extraordinary designers showcase their skills and stunning work.
Her one rule is "Don't be boring," and this visually stimulating collection embodies pure energy, style and passion.
The Voice Collection includes tables, chairs, sofas, occasional seating, case goods and upholstered pieces. Tov Furniture recruited designers whose aesthetics matched the company's and their customers, then helped each designer bring their vision to reality.

Carmeon Hamilton (carmeonhamilton.com)
Carmeon Hamilton is from Memphis. She's an interior designer, lifestyle blogger and a content creator. Hamilton won HGTV's Design Star: Next Generation and appeared on Reno My Rental. In addition to public health, Hamilton has 15 years of design experience in residential, retail and merchandising. Her work has also been covered in Architectural Digest, Southern Living, Essence, and Domino.
Nile Johnson (nilejohnson.com)
The Philadelphia-based head of founder of Nile Johnson Interior Design, Johnson was named one of the top 20 African-American interior designers for 2020 by House Beautiful magazine. HGTV and in publications, and he is an adjunct faculty member of Interior Design. Johnson is also a member of the Black Arts + Designers Guild.
Don Ricardo Massenburg (designinkredible.com)
The owner and founder of Design Inkredible, Don Ricardo Massenburg is an interior designer, an artist, and a teacher. In the industry, he is known for making bold color choices, patterns, and materials that stand out. As a person who studies education, Massenburg looks at the learning environment.
Erika Ward (erikaward.com)
Atlanta-based Erika Hollinshead Ward runs Erika Ward Interiors. She holds national spokesperson positions as well as brand ambassadorships for focused consumer marketing. Ward has championed programs to bring good design to people who haven't been able to access it.
Nicole White (nwdinteriors.com)
Nicole White is CEO and chief designer of Nicole White Designs Interiors in Sunrise, Fla. Her stunning designs have been in both The Wall Street Journal and Better Homes & Gardens. Her work was also featured in the Kips Bay Decorators Show House Palm Beach 2021, and she won the prestigious Luxe Red Award Contemporary/Modern Interiors in 2021.
Justin Q. Williams (trademarkdesignco.com)
Justin Q. Williams, of Atlanta, founded Trademark Design Co. in 2009. HGTV, House Beautiful, Modern Luxury Interiors, and Rizzoli International cookbook Picture Perfect Parties have all featured his work. His photo styling work has also been featured in a number of national publications.
